You can find it on a prescription, an appointment letter, or using the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/nhs-services\/online-services\/find-nhs-number\/\">Find your NHS number online service<\/a>.<br><br><strong>Ensure you have enough medication<\/strong><br><br>You should ensure you have at least one month&#8217;s supply of your medication. It can take around a month to transfer your records from your old GP practice. During this time, you may not be able to renew your prescriptions.<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-reveal1 nhsuk-details is-style-expander\"><summary class=\"nhsuk-details__summary\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"details-content-\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><span class=\"nhsuk-details__summary-text\">What is temporary registration?<\/span><\/summary><div class=\"nhsuk-details__text\" id=\"details-content-\" aria-hidden=\"false\">If you are staying in the area for less than 3 months, you may be able to register as a temporary patient.<br><br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunnymeedsurgery.nhs.uk\/our-surgeries\/\">Contact the surgery<\/a>&nbsp;to find out if you can register.<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-nhsblocks-reveal1 nhsuk-details is-style-expander\"><summary class=\"nhsuk-details__summary\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"details-content-\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><span class=\"nhsuk-details__summary-text\">Can I register if I live outside the area?<\/span><\/summary><div class=\"nhsuk-details__text\" id=\"details-content-\" aria-hidden=\"false\">Sunny Meed Surgery may be able to register you as a patient even if you live outside our usual catchment area.<br><br>This can be helpful if you&nbsp;work or study near the practice, but please remember that you must be able to attend&nbsp;face\u2011to\u2011face appointments&nbsp;whenever needed.<br><br>However, Out of Area Registration is&nbsp;not suitable for everyone.
